Our world was created with a
heavenly recipe. For it to spin in balance, all its elements have
to function in harmony. We must conserve its energy. All its
creatures, great and small, have to work in harmony.
This is so apparent in my home-
New York City. I live and work in a city that offers the greatest cultural diversity in the world. All the different languages, religious, ethnic cultures blended with the mix of young and "not-so-young," make this the cultural capital of the world.
While it is so easy to "stick with your own," New York City has proven that we can "all stick together!" From art, music, theater, culture, dining etc. there is no place like New
York. Each neighborhood has its own great flavor.
I have tried to put what I believe are the best multicultural sites on the web in this age. If you know of a site you think I should add, let me know!
Multicultural Calendar This site includes recipes for holiday foods, historical backgrounds and significances, and the ways holidays are celebrated all over the world.
